As kaiser rolls go, these were very nice. They were classic kaiser rolls, but nicer because they were fresh. Still, they are just kaiser rolls (which while nice, aren't that amazing.) The fun thing about these is making that pattern. It's made with a stamp, but when you stamp the roll, it deflates like a pricked balloon. But then once it proofs it somehow puffs back up enough.
